I am able to write to you in this way as I do not need to rely on selling you mentorship and online courses in order to pay my way threw life! Therefore by reading this you get a real life deal makers perspective as opposed to a highly paid internet marketer who sells courses for a living on how to buy a business! The internet is rife with FURUS (Fake Gurus) who have done a fantastic job of ripping off other peoples content regurgitating it in their own words. Just be mindful where you extract your information from and question everything. And by the way, watch out for phoney testimonials lol.
I regularly discourage individuals who approach me from investing in my high level mentorship partnership program, I refer to it as a luxury only if you can afford it. If you can afford it then YES it is sure to absolutely accelerate your chances of success BUT WITH THE RIGHT MENTOR.
I have been deal making most of my life but started mentoring in 2020. Under no circumstances would I refer to myself as a GURU. Like all of us we all have an agenda. I have developed my programs to build a quality network of like minded and trustworthy deal makers who I can get to know and have the potential of doing business with in the future. From only 4 months of mentoring I can absolutely see why the internet is flooded with these FURUS, so much money to be made by doing business in this way but so wrong of them to be taking advantage of this situation without a single acquisition of their own under their belt.
Put it this way, if there was not 7 figures on the table selling information products and services, I would not be doing it myself. Unfortunately the time it takes to make deals happen can be lengthy so that is why most FURUS AKA INTERNET MARKETERS take the easy route . I however spend most of my days doing deals and let me tell you its like being out in the war field, hard work but very rewarding! I am sure you all seen the rise and fall of Sam Ovens and his consulting.com product. A great example of an expert marketer with no real business that convinced many people to part with their hard earned capital.

My friend Josh Kim asked me a very good question. He said "Ken, Just curious - don't you make more money doing your deals Vs teaching" the answer just now is "Yes" but I can now see why these FURU'S thrive on the information industry. It just pisses me off as I have been in the trenches busting my balls trying to make deals happen and let me tell you, this is not an easy industry! Buying Bankrupt companies for $1 is even harder!
WHAT IS MY INVOLVEMENT WITH (DAN PENA | THE 50 BILLION DOLLAR MAN)
Dan Pena recognised me as being a super success without QLA and without the help of Dan Pena. Simply put, Dan used me as an example of "JUST FUCKING DO IT" meaning you can acquire a business with or without spending money on online courses, seminars and mentors. If you put your mind to something, anything is possible! Unlike Dan Pena all of his information is available online for free, mine is not. We both have very different ways of doing things. In fact, I am still to read Dan's book "Your 1st 100 Million".
ITS EASY TO BUY A BUSINESS WITH NO MONEY DOWN!
Absolute bullshit, if anybody makes this statement then run for the hills! It can be mentally challenging and somewhat exhausting getting your first deal over the line. If you are looking for a GET RICH QUICK strategy, this is not that! Yes you can make money from day one from your deals but it's not realistic to say you will extract $1M from any business acquisitions within short time frames. To put this into perspective, I have been extracting between $15K - $50K per month from my acquisitions at the top end of the spectrum. Yes, it is possible to build generational wealth as a serial deal maker but this requires a unique individual to make this happen and usually the bigger money is made when you make an exit.
DO I NEED A MENTOR?
No, I have come from the school of Hard Knocks! No mentor, no online courses, no seminars! I made many costly mistakes, landed myself up with the wrong people and got shafted out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even lost $61K of my child's inheritance and 6 months of my life to 1 particular deal that didn't happen. It is situations like this which have allowed me to develop boot strapping methodology which mitigate such risks. You may have seen me in photos with many famous entrepreneurs and mentors, it was only in recent years that I started revolving myself in different circles but still to this day I am 100% self taught but with a close network of friends in high places.
Having no mentor is like being dropped in the middle of Mumbai and told to navigate yourself without GPS or anybody to guide you to Bharats corner shop in Dharavi (largest slum in Mumbai). It is absolutely possible but it will take you time, you will probably get mugged but you will get there eventually.
Having a mentor is like having a reliable Sat Nav that will fast track your journey and get you to your final destination quicker than you could alone. A mentor is simply a luxury if you can afford it! Just remember, I started without one and have never had one.
HOW VALUABLE ARE ONLINE COURSES?
It depends! Online courses are like different brands of Rolex watches, you get the real ones and you get the copies.
IS QLA A SCAM
Simply put QLA is Dan Penas own acquisitions methodology. The only scams in this space are the ones who are copying QLA and reselling Dan's content. Dan Pena is one of the very few legit and REAL GURUS in this space.
Like Dan, I teach the Ken Mack Methodology which is completely unique to me and created out of many years of experience, financial loss, tears, torture, trail and error. I know many FURUS rip of Dan's content so just be careful.
THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU CAN MAKE
The best investment you can make is in yourself. That does not mean you need to invest in a mentor or expensive online course! You could do it my way and pay for your lessons the hard way and take it as it comes. Sometimes failure is the best lesson you could ever be taught. It has landed me where I am today which I am forever grateful for.
Play the game but play it safe and remember business is war, it's a game of strategy.
